This set is composed of 3 different coins representing 3 years of the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
The 2014 Inaugural coin was the first coin created in honor of the opening of the Museum. One side has the Tridents and Museum. The second side has the Memorial Pools.
The 2015 coin represents the Survivor Tree. A Callery pear tree was discovered in the rubble of Ground Zero during the recovery operation after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The severely damaged tree was nursed back to health and became known as the Survivor Tree. It now stands at the 9/11 Memorial as a living reminder of our shared strength in the face of tragedy.
The 2016 coin represents the 15th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks. One side has the Twin Towers & the other side has the Memorial Plaza.
The 9/11 Memorial and Museum are possible only through your support.
