Tribute in Light is a commemorative public art installation first presented six months after 9/11 and then every year thereafter, from dusk to dawn, on the night of September 11. Visible as far as 60 miles from lower Manhattan and reaching up to four miles into the sky.
The 9/11 Memorial and Museum honors all who perished in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. Located in the heart of the World Trade Center site, the Memorial is a national tribute and a place of hope for the future.
